It takes hard work, knowledge and a special kind of something to really excel as a compliance professional. If you ask me, anyone wishing to be successful in a compliance leadership role must possess the three Ps of compliance: Professionalism, Patience and Pluck.
Sure, knowledge of fraud and abuse laws are important and something that every compliance officer needs to know. But, the three Ps of compliance make up the very essence of what makes an exceptional compliance officer’s character.
