Folks, I just came back from this year’s HCCA’s Compliance Institute in Las Vegas and it was awesome! Over 3,000 people attended this year and the speakers were incredible. There was so much compliance information that I scribbled in my notebook so fast that at one point I thought my hand might start smoking.

I learned that hundreds of new healthcare whistleblower cases are being filed each year, what the DOJ opioid fraud unit will be looking for, and much, much more! These hot topic sessions armed me with the knowledge I need to stay on top of compliance for 2018. Where you able to attend this year? If not, have no fear, I’ve got you covered. You did attend?
