Use 2017 Work Plan Updates to Prepare for 2018.

It’s that time of year again! Compliance programs are performing annual risk assessments and creating annual audit work plans in preparation for 2018.

Most of us rely on the OIG Work Plan to guide us. In our latest compliance survey, 44% of compliance pros used the OIG Work Plan as their primary driver when evaluating their risks and creating annual plans. The OIG Work Plan is continually updated and that’s why it’s so important to review it at least annually (though ideally, even more frequently.) As you know, the OIG Work Plan updates summarize new and ongoing reviews and activities that the OIG plans to pursue. There’s no better way to prepare than by going straight to the source.
