Spring cleaning is in full swing – and the DOJ got in on the action too. They took a look at their guidance document, “Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs,” and decided it was time for a refresh.
Why is that document so significant? Well, it serves as guidance for prosecuting attorneys in determining whether an organization had an effective compliance program in place at the time of alleged misconduct.
