Tactics to Master Medical Decision Making

Every auditor faces different challenges. Some of us get stuck on MIPS, while others struggle with HCC. The one area that seems to really stump all of us across the board is Medical Decision Making.

It’s that one area where there’s always room to grow as an auditor. Medical Decision Making is one of the most challenging areas of Evaluation and Management auditing. It requires the auditor to understand the clinical cognitive labor of the physician, which often leaves the auditor questioning the MDM complexity.

In my upcoming interactive webinar, Taking the Guess Work out of MDM, I’ll explore strategies that take the guess work out of medical decision making and learn to uncover hidden MDM elements, avoid the tendency to neglect data reviewed and/or ordered, and understand where the patient’s problem/condition fits on the table of risk.
