Ada was working on her laptop in a coffee shop with her friend, Brenda Honeycutt, and drinking coffee when she checked her email and nearly lost her mind with excitement. “OMG! OMG! OMG! She put her hands on her head and pushed back her bangs and widened her eyes to get a better view of the email. She didn’t even notice that she was so tense that she’d started to yank on her hair. Brenda looked up surprised, “What is it, Ada?” Ada looked like she might explode, “Healthicity is giving away a major prize for their one millionth site visitor!” She grabbed her hair and yanked on it, excited. Brenda nodded, “yeah, I know.”
Ada leaned forward, holding two fists full of hair, “How did you know?! Brenda took a sip of her coffee and gestured to her cool Healthicity t-shirt. “Because I won.” She said. Ada spit her coffee across the table, her hair a total mess, fists full of strands, “You WHAT? Brenda smiled and took a sip of her Matcha Latte, “Yeah, I totally won.”
Then, Ada got wheeled out on a gurney with a bad case of Trichotillomania, with a crazy look in her eyes. “It’s going to be okay,” Brenda reassured Ada. Ada popped one eye open and whispered, “Congratulations, Brenda.”
