Key takeaways from the AMA CPT® and RBRVS Symposium.
In November of this year, Charla Prillaman attended the annual AMA CPT® and RBRVS Symposium, which was, for the first time ever, an all-virtual experience. While she learned a ton about the new and revised codes for this year, she also learned just how technically proficient she’d become in 2020.
Because we know not everyone has a chance to go to the symposium, we thought Charla could help those of you unable to attend by writing a new eBrief titled, “Report from the AMA CPT® and RBRVS Symposium, 2020.”
In addition to hearing from a great lineup of thought-leading speakers, Charla attended a bunch of new (digital) courses, where she learned about updates to Chronic Care, e-visits, and best practices for calculating the complexity of MDM. But the big changes, as we all know by now, are coming next month, and Charla was given a sneak peek at what’s in store for 2021.
Download our free eBrief now for her view into what we can all expect next year and beyond, and to read about her her personal list of conference highlights, including:
- Changes to 329 CPT Codes
- Updates from theCMS Medical Directors on the Proposed and Final Rules
- Modifications to Chronic Care & Complex Chronic Care Management Services
