The Misadventures of Ada:
Prince Charming T63.813A

It was a beautiful night, so Ada decided to skip her favorite T.V. show to go for a long walk instead. She went to her favorite spot, a pond on the edge of a forest near her house. The stars were shining, a light breeze blew and crickets chirped. How romantic, she thought. On the edge of the pond, she spotted a frog on a stone. He looked right at her and seemed to speak to her, “Ribbet! Ribbet!” He said. Despite being a fairly logical person, she couldn’t help but wonder if the fairy tales were true. Could he be a prince?

Ada made sure that nobody was nearby before she gently lifted the frog from the stone and gave him a big kiss on top of his head. “Ribbet?” He said. Suddenly, Ada blinked, and the world turned to technicolor and a prince was leaning over her with hearts in his eyes. “Ma’am?” He said.

At least, that’s what Ada thought she saw while unconscious in the hospital. Sweet dreams, Ada.

Special thanks to Kathleen Tischler for this suggestion.
