I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that compliance involves a lot of moving parts these days. Tracking incidents, training, and monitoring are just a few basics of the position.

I get it. Being a compliance officer doesn’t sound all that thrilling to the general public. When I explain my job to friends, I can see their expressions glaze over as they struggle to suppress a yawn. Yet, as far as I’m concerned, my job is amazing.

As a Compliance Officer, you’re charged with the complicated task of creating and maintaining compliance. You manage a thousand moving parts, often while fighting a constant, uphill battle to prove the legitimacy of your relatively new, though crucial, position.
