UPDATE: Overtime Rule

I appreciate you attending my recent webinar, titled "Compliance, Simplified" back on November 9, 2016. During that time, I had stated that changes may be happening. We all know the only constant in healthcare is change. 

Therefore, I wanted to make you aware of some important changes that happened late yesterday. 

The Overtime Rule that was to become effective December 1, 2016 has been blocked by a federal judge. This effects the job classification of exempt & non-exempt employees and the minimum salary benchmark of $47,476.00 per year. Those of you who have diligently prepared for this moment will probably have mixed feelings. I have attached a USA Today article below for your review.
