The Misadventures of Ada: "Knitting Her Way to Disaster," ICD-10 Cartoon Y93.D1

Ada recently set out to learn how to knit. Knitting is known for bringing a sense of calm joy to practitioners. It’s something to do with your hands, a way to relax, unwind, all while creating interesting gifts (some lovely, some weird) for your friends and loved ones. A table doily, some baby booties, or a scarf, anyone?

Ada took up knitting because she wanted to make matching pumpkin sweaters for her and her best friend. Every fall, they attend an annual pumpkin picking party together where she hoped they’d rock their awesome new outfits.

When Ada sat down in front of YouTube to learn, she thought to herself, this is gonna be cake! And she assumed that two months would be plenty of time to finish her project.
