The Misadventures of Ada: ICD-10 Cartoon, "Dizziness and Giddiness" R42

“Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock,” blared from the record player while Ada danced and twirled with a handsome man she’d just met at her neighbor’s annual Holiday Extravaganza.

“More eggnog?” the hostess asked.

“Absolutely,” Ada said, eagerly holding out her cup for more of the delicious, creamy, cinnamon and spice goodness.

Eggnog was Ada’s favorite seasonal drink and she tended to over-imbibe when given the chance. “Cheers!” She said to her dance partner. “Cheers!” He said, smiling back at her. And they continued to dance.

“I like you!” Ada said. “I like you, too,” he responded. Then Ada looked up and saw Mistletoe. She pointed to it and leaned in close to him. “Can I kiss you?” He asked.

Ada wagged her eyebrows at him. “Yes,” she said, enthusiastically.

He grabbed Ada, dipped her, and kissed her passionately. Their hearts fluttered in unison. When Ada stood back up after her movie-like romantic moment she swooned and felt a little odd, a little light-headed and dizzy because she’d been knocked off her feet by pure giddiness. Careful, Ada.
