The Misadventures of Ada: ICD-10 Cartoon, "In-line Roller Skating" V00.112S

As we all eagerly watch the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines coincide with the warming weather, it can be a hopeful time. It’s been a long twelve months, but with the end of this pandemic finally showing some light at the end of this very long tunnel, there’s finally a sense of optimism in the air. We certainly feel it around here, as our Zoom fatigue has officially peaked, and many of us are getting very excited to see and work and collaborate with one another in the more traditional sense.

The sense of hope and optimism is only natural. After all, March 20th was the first day of Spring.

On that first day of Spring, our dear Ada strapped on her rollerblades and safely ventured outside for a day of exercise. The weather was so beautiful, that she couldn’t help but miss some of her old friends she used to regularly skate with.

To make up for their absence, Ada pulled out her camera to take a selfie that she wanted to share with her friends. But, this being the first time skating in a very long time, she was a little rusty. So as she was about to take her picture, she began to lose her balance, and before she knew it, her glorious weekend stroll turned into just another day in the life of Ada...
