The Misadventures of Ada: “Thanksgiving with Overprotective Parents,” ICD-10 Cartoon Z62.1

Thanksgiving is the time of year for sharing a meal with loved ones and giving thanks for everything we have to be grateful for in our lives. Every November, Ada heads home to spend the holiday with her parents.

This year, Ada’s mom and dad cooked an amazing feast of Turkey, sweet potatoes and apple pie. The family laughed and gossiped about the neighbors for hours. Throughout the laughter, food and fun, her parents also dished out a lot of advice. Are you getting enough iron, Ada? Watching your cholesterol Ada? After all, it is Thanksgiving. By the end of dinner, Ada looked like her head might explode from a combination of mashed potatoes and overprotective parents.
