For Ada’s latest misadventure, she and her friends Sully and Roxanne spent the night trick or treating around their neighborhood. Earlier in the week, they had made their own costumes, Dorothy, The Tin Man, and the Wicked Witch of the West, in preparation for this, their favorite holiday.
They were so excited to fill their bags with their favorite candy. So, they joined the children and their parents in the night's festivities, skipping down the street singing, “Lollipops, and Twizzlers, and Baby Ruths, oh my.”
It was still relatively early when life began imitating art. And it all felt a little too close to home…
